Privacy policy
Effective September 22, 2026.
Math/Physics Academy is Colin Ford, a sole proprietor in Long Beach, California. This covers shop.mathphysics.academy.
What we collect
When you order:
- Name and shipping address, to ship it and calculate tax.
- Email address, for your receipt, tracking, and questions about the order.
- What you bought and what you paid, including tax and shipping.
When you pay, card details go directly to Stripe, our payment processor. They never reach our server; we see only the card brand and last four digits.
When you visit, our web host keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested, time) for security and troubleshooting.
We don't run analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, and we don't set our own cookies.
Who it's shared with
Only to complete your order. We don't sell or rent it, and don't share it for advertising.

We'll also disclose information if the law requires it, such as to tax authorities.
Other parties collecting data
The checkout page loads Stripe's code from js.stripe.com. Stripe collects device, browser and IP information and sets cookies to detect fraud, and may use that data across other sites that use Stripe. No other third party collects information on our site.
Do Not Track
We don't track you across sites, so there's nothing to switch off. We don't change our behaviour based on Do Not Track signals. Stripe's handling is in its policy.
How long we keep it
Order records for 4 years, for tax purposes. Server logs are kept according to our host's rotation. Emails until no longer needed.
Your choices
Email orders@mathphysics.academy to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it. We'll delete anything we aren't required to keep for tax records.
We won't email you anything except about your order. There's no mailing list.
Children
The shop isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Security
Checkout is encrypted (HTTPS). Payment data is handled by Stripe. Order records are kept where the public website can't reach them.
Changes
We'll post any change here with a new effective date. If a change affects how we use information from a past order, we'll email the customers affected.
